Reminder that rasengan, before running vp.net also owned Private Internet Access (PIA) [0] which was also allegedly involved in spreading rumors about ProtonVPN years ago [1].
This is just a marketing post for a different VPN company trying to sell you a "truly private" VPN. Take everything you're reading with a grain of salt.
I don't think proton advertises itself as a "bulletproof" provider that completely ignores complaints, so not sure what exactly were they expecting here?
proton does not operate in a free country and logs whatever they like, their transparency report even shows it. they are a political tool that gives favors.
protons services are subpar compared to others anyways - mullvad has far better speed even with u.s and e.u trying to throttle their services.

PIA btw was acquired by Kape/Crossrider: https://cyberinsider.com/private-internet-access-kape-crossr...
So there is a lot of history between the owner of vp.net and proton.

Wait a sec, let me read your HN about section:
The only VPN that can’t spy on you is VP.NET since you can verify what is running on the servers using Intel SGX attention.
